Roccoco Sundial

The style of this pair of sundials painted on a Cistercian Monastery Church: Klosterkirche in Birnau, Germany is baroque roccoco. I'm curious about its history and know many sundials were painted on builings in this Lake Constance area of Germany, Switzerland and especially Austria. There was a vineyard attached to the monastic church so I think the painting of sundials on prominent towers was wholly practical to be able to keep track of time when working outdoors. The pair should stay together, so I'm offering a discount for the two (for $200).
